Experience with M&A

I have experience on both the acquired and acquiring sides of integrations. 

First, the company I worked for in Denmark was acquired in 2017 by an American company. Secondly, I have supported the HR due diligence processes and acquisition integrations in the Philippines, Czech Republic, Poland, Denmark, Mexico, and the United States.

This dual perspective has enabled me to understand, anticipate, and address potential challenges, ensuring smoother transitions during integrations. 

In the process of post-acquisition integration, I use McKinsey 7-S Model focusing on: Structure, Strategy, System, Shared Values, Skill, Style, and Staff. 

Experience with navigating cultures

As a Business Unit HR Director and VP of HR, I have worked globally with over 4,500 employees, effectively navigating challenges related to cultural differences, corporate expectations, legal requirements, and diverse work practices.

I have designed and implemented cultural frameworks that emphasize collaboration, communication, community contributions, values, recognition, and continuous improvement, while also directing DE&I initiatives tailored to regional differences.

I have designed and implemented GDPR compliance processes and supported global privacy compliance efforts, including China.

My approach involves engaging with all levels of the organization, listening to learn, connecting the dots, and communicating effectively. I always view diversity of cultures as a strength to build upon.

I tailor a hands-on approach and project plan to bridge the gaps on a personal, team or group level. The approach includes change management initiatives and considerations.
